How long do you spend putting on your makeup in the morning? How often do you find
yourself touching up your brows or fixing your eyeliner? Wouldn’t it be great just always
to have perfect, permanent makeup applied? With modern permanent makeup, that
could easily be a reality. You have probably heard of microblading but using similar
techniques; permanent makeup can be used to enhance several areas of the face.
Permanent makeup, also known as permanent cosmetics or micropigmentation, is ink or
pigment typically used to give the look of everyday cosmetics—most often eyebrow
pencil, eyeliner, or lip color. Like tattoos, the ink is placed deep in the skin, making it
permanent. It generally lasts three to five years but can last longer as well.
